When Custom Steel Processing opened in 2002, it was our founder, Bob Stock, who hauled their inaugural load. Two decades later, our dedicated fleet now handles up to 70 Custom Steel loads per day — and counting.
Our partnership started as a conversation with founder Bob Stock, who proudly hauled their first load when they opened in 2002. But our history with the team spans over 40 years — Bob worked with the same team at Affiliated Metals Company, then Metals USA, then finally Custom Steel Processing.
With processing facilities along the Mississippi River in Madison and in Granite City, Custom Steel Processing requires consistent and reliable freight handling services on a daily basis.
Custom Steel Processing offers comprehensive, cut-to-length, slitting, custom blanking, and shearing for cold-rolled, galvanized, and hot-rolled pickled and oiled substrate.
The Challenge
Our dedicated dispatcher manages up to 60-70 loads per day between locations. Whether we're receiving steel plates and coil shipments from barges, transferring loads between plants, or providing seamless delivery to their customers, we never turn down a request.
